MLK Poster Collage
My collage was created focusing on the Black Lives Matter movement. Paying tribute to one of the most significant figures of the civil rights movement Martin Luther King Jr., who helped to lead and organize non-violent marches for the rights of Black Americans. Each picture depicted within this collage demonstrates his influence and the speeches he gave, which made front news headlines.
In addition to the old newspaper articles that are depicted in the shape of his face, there is also the Black Lives Matter logo shown in my poster. To represent that we are still dealing with racism in modern times. It is essential to look back into the past to figure out why racism is still a relevant issue today.
