Nisei Week Poster
This poster promotes the Japanese “Nisei Week” festival, which celebrates Japanese culture and history. To honor Nisei Week, my poster combines traditional Japanese elements and symbols of good fortune to create a more traditional Japanese feeling within the poster that radiates peace and tranquillity. The yellow gradient background and red sun symbolize good fortune, as yellow represents nature/sunshine, while red signifies good luck in Japanese culture. Likewise, the birds also signify good luck.
